Wearing a bolo tie in 2020s

One of our favorite things about the bolo tie is how adaptable it is even more than a standard men's necktie. You can jazz it up, down, and all the way in between.

So, if you have never worn one of these before, how do you do it? Here are a few of recommended bolo tie outfits.

Suit for a Business Meeting

Dressing up a bolo tie with a blazer and buttoned shirt is the conventional way to wear it. What you're doing is replacing the necktie with a bolo. If your bolo has a big clasp, you can choose a wide or narrow-collared shirt, but for tiny bolos, stay with a narrow-collar.

Denim jacket

Substitute a denim jacket for the blazer. Leave the collared shirt undone at the front and adjust the bolo clasp so that it rests about your shirt's third button. For a blend of current style and cowboy roughness, combine Indian bolo ties with dark blue or black denim and rancher or equivalent southwestern heeled boots.
